This book was just amazing. I found myself completely captivated by Eleanor's complex and raw journey as she navigates the world in her own unique way. I laughed, I cried, and I felt all the feels. Definitely a 5-star read for me - it's one of those stories that I'll carry with me for a long time.

This book, oh this, book. I don't know why I couldn't finish it back when I picked it up for the first time.
Mundane (in a good way) at places, a socially awkward sweetheart, finding her way through her tragic life.
Funny, really.
Also, Eleanor is such a delight with words and her intrusive thoughts are a wonder. I definitely would love to be friends with her and her cat, and would help her decorate her place but I'm afraid I'll pass the vibe check. She's kind, compassionate and really more normal than she and people think her to be.

And Raymond, love, you're a gold star human.

I'm glad I read this.

SOOO GOOD
I loved how the story didn’t feel it needed to give a proper romantic ending, it made the story all the more memorable. It took back the authors power of making Eleanor’s story the focal point and going against convention

Ok that was crazy actually

Slow start, but when we got to the “bad times” section, things really picked up. Left me feeling every feeling by the end. Such a unique refreshing book. I was set on it being a 4 star read but it just kept getting better closer to the end. I think I’ll be thinking about this one for awhile.
