I really enjoyed this story! It was a fun read. I have really enjoyed this series so far. This can be read as a standalone but if you have read the previous books in the series you will understand some of the dynamics and characters a little bit more than if this is the first book you're reading. That being said, it's not needed, we are given the information needed for this story, in this story. It's just an extra if you have. I really enjoyed Dani and her personality. She is not afraid of the men and knows how to put them down. Sardaan is smitten with Dani from the moment he saw her. He definitely has his work cut out for him as he tries to scale her walls and get her to trust him and give in to their feelings. The sex is explicit and blended into the story well. The story moves at a great pace. There is plenty of action and intrigue along with the relationship building and focus. I'm super excited to continue with this series and can't wait to see who is next.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Aliens are pretty much cave men in their attitude with women, 'she's mine and I'm having her'. Gotta love it when the female character is a strong woman.
This was fun and easy to read.

Thank Goodness the Lathar are back! I've had withdrawal symptoms.

Dani is on a mission to ensure that the Vice President is returned safe and unharmed from the Lathar ship. She did not rise to the rank of Major General by being weak but as she approaches the ship she realises just how out-classed the Terrans are.

Sardaan is a revered warrior and works with Fenriis and Danaar. But he has a very well hidden softer side - he is coaching weaker warriors so that they are not untrained cannon fodder. He refuses to ignore them as others do. When he first saw Dani onscreen he felt the tug towards her. Now he just has to get her to understand that she is his, and he is hers! Oh and maybe put down a truly stupid plan to try and overtake the ship!

Dani and Sardaan truly are two of a kind. Both are strong, determined and loyal to their leaders - although one learns that power has a way of corrupting. Dani is superb at taking down misogynistic men quickly - causing more than a few rude awakenings. But secrets, lies and mistrust are exacting a toll on the flames that erupt when they are alone! And it's also great that the leaders are older, even if one doesn't quite look it - even with the silver hair!

Great addition to the series and I am on tenterhooks waiting for a certain leader to get his HEA.
