I have no idea why they’ve renamed it A Haunting in Venice, there’s no ghosts and it doesn’t take place anywhere near Venice. Hallowe’en Party is a much more sensible title. The cover art is also dumb. The book itself is good though.

I don't really know what to say about this book. It was definitely not my favorite entry into the Poirot series. It didn't even keep me intrigued enough to read it faster than I did in six months. But it was still pretty good, if not a bit predictable.

Intriguing at the start, a long drag in the middle then riveting at the end. I was turning the pages so fast to find out who the murderer was, and I was surprised.
