There were so many twists and turns in this book that it always keeps you on your toes, however without being overly complicated and not losing the attention of the reader. It is everything you look for in a very good thriller group which includes romance and intrigue.

It is a story of a wife and husband, as well as a psychopath and a lover. I don't want to spoil the book for anyone as the book overtime shows you how they are all connected and how this thriller was the accumulation of their whole lives. It does switch between different view points which makes is really easy to read and understand because you start to see stories from various perspectives. I would say that this story only spans a week or so, however this is not very noticable as you get engrossed.

I would recommend this to anyone who is in a reading slump and would like to get back into reading after a long time. It was a quick read that made you want to turn the page and keep you up at night to finish. It is honestly one of the best thrillers I have ever read.

I almost wanted to DNF this book. I had expected such a different plot, and I have to be honest, what I got, wasn't really my cup of tea. The only 'good' thing about this book is the ending. Just the way it ends, suits the story perfectly and that's why it's got one more star.

Why is nothing amazing and breathtaking anymore? It's like psychological thrillers are decaying faster than an 80's rockstar's days of glory.

I will never understand why books like [b:The Girl on the Train|22557272|The Girl on the Train|Paula Hawkins|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1421709869s/22557272.jpg|41107568] become runaway bestsellers when books like this exist. Yeah, yeah... there are similarities. This story revolves around four crazy people doing crazy stuff with plenty of crazy plot twists along the way just like that other book I mentioned. But, come on, this story is so much better. I loved how the story begins with Ted and Lily running into each other at the airport and having an interesting conversation. And, I loved how the second half of the book resets everything and flips the story into something completely different than I thought it was going to be.

There is plenty of backstory here, too, so most of the characters have depth even if their pasts are ridiculously unbelievable at times. I mean you really have to just roll with this thing and not think about it too much because it's insane. I can't really say anything else without giving too much away. The only thing that bugged me was how convenient some things were from some people, especially one of them, when it came to certain things that happened in particular sections of the book. See how vague that was? I can't say anymore.....

Ooo I loved this book. I really enjoyed how the book had alternating POVs, but the stories meshed so well together that you never felt like you didn’t know what was happening. I applaud the author in the minute links some of the characters were linked together. If I read too fast I would’ve missed some of them. While reading this book, you’re being placed in the mind of a murderer and you get to go through the “why’s”, “why not’s” and the moral dilemmas. I found it to be extremely intriguing and I finished it in one sitting. It held me from the first sentence to the last and I would 100% recommend this to my psychological thriller lovers!
