Absolutely insane read but I loved it. In fact, I loved it so much that I chose to do it as one of my A Level English lit coursework texts! Highly recommend if you enjoy reading the absolute worst man ever yapping about Edgar Allan Poe.

Easily on of my favourite books I've ever read. Nabakov's prose and the way he writes HH is just phenomenonal

I felt a lot of different things and I didn’t expect pity for a pedophile to be one of them.

I don't even know what to rate this, it certainly made me immensely uncomfortable and there were often times where the author went on a ramble. I understand the purpose of this book, I just don't know that I needed to read it to get that insight.

Anyone who thinks this is a romance or a comedy has lost their last brain cell. It is well written and witty but it is not fun or romantic.
Worth the read I just had to take occasional breaks because I got too angry.

I found it boring. The way the story is written is confusing and very dull.
