This is my first book from the author so I’m not sure exactly what I was expecting going into this book as I’m not typically a why choose reader.

I devoured this book within one sitting, I enjoyed the dynamics between all the characters. It does end on a cliffhanger so I’m excitedly waiting for the next book as I was totally sucked into the story. f you’re looking for a sports romance read with grumpy x sunshine and why choose you’ll want to give it a read.

I’ve had this book recommended so many times and I’m so happy I finally read it. I legitimately couldn’t put it down

All the characters had me so invested in the story and I immediately had to jump into book 2 once finishing!

I genuinely don't know what to say, It's currently 6 a.m., and I just finished this masterpiece of a book and if it wasn't for Grammarly this review would be filled with typos and mistakes so thank god for that, My eyes are dry af from reading all night, so thank you god for eyedrops too, and I'm questioning my existence because ABBY HOW COULD YOU, that cliffy is cruel and I loved it, I was scared af of the cliffhanger but now I just cannot wait for book 2.

Jo is such an amazing person and I can't wait for more insight into her past, trauma, and why the ef does she needs meds. So yeah, let's hope some of these are explained in book 2, I love, love, loved her sarcasm and wit, that part of her reminded me of myself because I can't go 5 words without saying something sarcastic and I'm pretty sure my bf will disown me one day because of it (joking, he loves me too much and sometimes he's even more sarcastic than me) anyway back to the topic, I can't wait to see more of her and what will happen in book 2.

The boys are WOWW, I genuinely liked how there's talk about neurodivergence and chronic illnesses, especially with the MCs because that is not something you see in a lot of books, especially Why Choose, so I loved that, I can't wait to take a deep delve into their backstories and past too, I feel like there will be a lot to uncover, my favorite of the boys is Kylian coming in first, with Locke in second, then Decker and lastly Kendrick, which I hope that he can rectify himself, because let's say he has a lot of redemption to do, I love Ky's laid back attitude and how he's calm and collected while also being a safe space to Jo, (and Hunter is right, he totally does give soft dom vibes), with Locke, I love how he's playful and fun and light, he's just light you know, I hopw you get what I mean anyway, Decker is always in control but I love the soft side that he has with Jo, how he's vulnerable with her, and last but certainly not least is Kendrick which I'm sure he will grow on me, i loved seeing his soft side at family dinner, that's how i know he will definitely grow on me, I can't wait for book 2 and see what it has in store for us.
