This was a really sweet, tender and slow read which I enjoyed - I just didn’t quite connect with the characters for some reason? I most connected with Esther in this historical storyline but felt something missing with Rachel, and particularly didn’t feel that connected to the central love story. It’s weird - all the ingredients are there but it didn’t quite come together for me! A beautiful story though, with gorgeous description.
