Oh my heart. This was an incredibly moving novel that troubled my thoughts on forgiveness. It was beautifully written and the characters left soft imprints on my softened heart. What a journey of complicated love growth and family.

While this book tackles heavy subject matter, I felt the author did it in a beautifully redemptive way. The FMC is so resilient and strong and yet she is held out as a flawed woman working through her own trauma. 

The MMC is a kind and considerate and deeply loving man who still blunders and yet there is so much forgiveness between them and toward other characters. 

I loved it, I cried, I smiled, I wish I could read it again for the first time.
