This book followed the events planning up to Vicki's wedding. Krissy came to the airport to meet her dad and Vicki's parents and was greeted with a surprise. As usual Krissy comes across a dead body and the story happens. I really like this series because I feel like the characters are relatable and there's just something really good about it. I also love the love interests and that whole side plot!

I feel like if you like The Cupcake Shop mysteries, Joanne Fluke's mysteries and the Flower Shop mysteries you'll enjoy this one.

Looking forward to the next!

I would also like some recommendations of books similar to this as most of my series have come to an end!

Vicki is getting married. Krissy is in charge of the parents. The brides mother brings along her own famous wedding planner to redo the entire wedding. Krissy is trying to keep everyone in line, but someone gets past her and kills the wedding planner. Now Vicki can have the wedding she wants but Krissy still needs to figure out who the killer is so no one else dies.

This was the first book i read in this series and it' was a pleasant and enjoyable read.
The plot is interesting and it kept me guessing, the cast of characters is likeable and I found some minor characters funny.
I really like the description of the small town and the relationship dynamics.
On the negative side I found that the heroine sometimes acted like a doormat and that was a bit I didn't like.
Many thanks to Kensington Books and Netgalley for this ARC

I really like some of the characters in this series but it’s been feeling a bit flat for me. I’m still not giving up on it, though.
