This is a sad and lovely story of an innocent young man who is gay in a time when you could be sent to prison or other horrid punishments for being gay. His father sells him to a brothel, to his shock. Over time the boy finds his place and comes to fall in love with a man who will protect him. Overall a sweet story of knowledge, acceptance and love. I’m glad I purchased this one and realising this is actually the second book in this series, will have to read the first in the series.
