Good Read

Now I’m used to the girls always second guessing their love but Josiah takes the cake

Eh, it was okay.
I really liked the cover of this book and Diem's narration. The black romance and black friendships  was a vibe. I also liked that Josiah prayed before meals. I don't know, I can't explain it but that appealed to me.
It was just ok!
Forgettable plot but great array of POC characters that felt like I was reading a script from an episode of Tyler Perry's Sistas = 3 stars🌟

Josiah and Santana were definitely a sexy and hot couple, but the story was missing that little conflict needed to propel this couple forward. I thought for sure that the daughter of that businessman Josiah's father was trying to get him to partner up with was going to try and cause problems or at least shake things up a bit. The woman herself hinted that she didn't seem to care that Josiah was in a "relationship" with Santana, yet we didn't hear anything from her since she slid her card over to Josiah and gave him the lust eye.

I love Josiah and Santana!

With each book, I fall more in love with the Roses! I thought Jonas and Samiyah were my favorites but now I think Josiah and Santana have taken their place. I didn’t see Josiah having genuine feelings for Santana coming but it did my heart good that he was drawn to her just as much as she was to him. Great read!
