The Best Kind of Mistake by Jasmin Miller is a short read packed with steam, humor, and super sweet swoony moments. I’m not usually a fan of novellas due to the fact that I sometimes find it difficult connecting with the story and the characters over so few pages, but Jasmin Miller manages to do a fantastic job overcoming this. This is the second book I have read by Jasmin Miller and I have found that she has a very clean, crisp and authentic style of writing which makes the flow of the story effortless. Her comedic timing is flawless and you find yourself giggling along throughout the story.

Logan & Ember's story is an endearingly sweet one that was so enjoyable. Their chemistry and attraction is immediate and as they spend more with each other they find out they work really well together and they have a lot in common. Add in the sexual tension as well and these two are unable to resist each other for very long!

This novella was a quick and fun read. I enjoyed it immensely and it's the perfect length with enough excitement making it an absolute pleasure to read.

I love office/work romance because the sexual tension is just unbelievable. This book is no exception. It was adorable and sweet. I wish it was longer and not a novella because I felt like it was not enough and I need more!! That's the only reason why it's three & half stars.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

“We’ve definitely become friends—friends that sometimes stare at each other, and maybe, just maybe, imagine the other one naked on occasion too.”

I will start by saying that I was given an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. These opinions are my own. Thank you so much to Jasmin for sending a copy my way!

Ember’s character is relatable. Her voice had me laughing out loud. I enjoyed her perspective on the struggles of life as a twenty-something trying to be independent.⁣

Logan comes across as a bit of a snob but really he is a sweetheart. ⁣The chemistry between the two is amazing. I was hooked from the open page.

The only downside to this book is that I wanted more. I’m excited to see what Miller does next and I do hope we get to see more from these characters in the future.

I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily give my review.

This book was the sweetest! I was hooked right at the start and what I thought was going to be a predictable romance novella and I couldn't have been more wrong. Ember was a bright spark in this book right from the beginning with her pink hair and bright personality. I adored that this story took place in Santa Barbara, a place near and dear to me. I was able to immediately envision the setting and the scenery and Ember found her hero. I loved every minute of this story and [a:Jasmin Miller|16581103|Jasmin Miller|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1545597774p2/16581103.jpg] is an author I will continue to follow!! This is a must read!
