This was a good read but it didn’t have me hooked. I liked the twist at the end but it was quite an obvious one I’d you’re looking for the clues as the story is told. There are a LOT of characters so quite hard to keep
Up with who is who and who is married to who!

I have not hated a character so much in a while. Lilly is such a see you next Tuesday. Even before everything I hated her. I honestly think my rating is biased by how much I dislike her. Great plot though, really enjoyed it.

What if your neighbour handed you a diary full of the neighbourhood secrets? What if someone tried to kill that neighbour? Would you hand the diary over to the police?

This is the situation Rae finds herself in when Priscilla hands her the diary and what follows is lots of twists and turns. All the neighbours were just not nice people and trying to double cross each other in some way. Makes you glad to not live in a neighbourhood like it.

I did find it hard to put this book down as the curiosity of what happened was too great. I didn't expect the big twist at the end.

Honestly could not put this book down! Finished it in a few days. Makes you think about what is going to happen next while your are reading it.
Dorothy Koomson never fails in my opinion.
In typical Dorothy Koomson style, she keeps the suspense up until the end. If you've never read a book by Dorothy Koomson but love a story that's easy to read yet full of twists and turns, give her a try.
