#trade #barter I can't believe I've only just read this book. So funny, so ironical. Great for any units on trade and barter, anything to do with family relationships. And the passive dad reading his newspaper through it all!

It was funny and the art was so child like that it makes you believe that it was really drawn by a kid.

This book makes a lot more sense now that I know that it was originally published in 1997. Nonetheless, I do not like it.

In the same style as the movie Mirrormask, this children's book by Neil Gaiman is fun and unique. I love the weird illustration style, and even the text is done crazily. This book is just a lot of fun. Neil Gaiman has the unique ability to write books for every age of audience.

Lucu, hahaha...

Makasih ebooknya, Mas Tezar xD

An entertaining read of what might happen in a reality very much like our own. The afterward and the CD where the author reads the book are both fantastic, and worth the price of admission on their own.

Oh, how I wish I could time travel and slip this marvelous book into the Spiderman backpack of my 7 year-old self. Maybe it would have prevented me from swapping my dad's turntable for a very crappy (but much needed) ukulele.

The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish made me forget my surroundings. It is absorbing, funny, cute and weird in the best possible way. The perfection of Dave McKean's illustrations never ceases to amaze me.

A good one to add to a nursery book shelf, one to read to kids at night.
