This book is a well deserving 5 star book. It opens up your mind to the power of re-thinking. Rethinking is a life skill.
The book was structured very well and it's very easy to follow along the concepts.
I'm reading another book in parallel which is about 'How to read a book' and it says that a good book has a good structure and more often than not, the author summarises it well too. Adam Grant did just tha. Well structured and then well summarised.
It's possible that many points made in the book turn out to be wrong. But again the whole point is to open your mind to the possibility of being wrong and treating it as a learning experiment.
"Focus more on improving yourself than proving yourself".

Interesting read about the importance of rethinking rather than remaining stuck on certain ideas. Nice variety of examples and results drawn from studies, and forces you to pay attention to how curated our personal bubbles are in this new age.

This is yet another book that I will have to read again. I like Grant's main premise here--that we need to learn how to more gracefully (and therefore usefully) accept when we don't know something or think we do and are flat wrong about it.
Grant is pretty funny. I think he knows it sometimes, which can cause the eyes to roll a little. I'm guilty of that, though, so I can't call him out too much. I can see some use for many things he writes about in my classroom, especially when we're gearing up for a debate or argumentative project of some kind.

It's a good one time read and provides good insights about thinking again, it's advantages and how things would be different if important things were not decided out of complacency.
