Well this got me up way past my bedtime. I gotta say I somehow thought it would be much darker based on a review I read, but after having looked up some scenes from Hunting Adeline, there's a lot more necessary to shock me...
Solid spice, quite hot, barely any plot, and fun👍🏼

Dark Step brother romance, a game of cat and mouse. Colton is obsessed with his “step sister” since the moment he laid eyes on her. He’s taught her how to be his personal pleasure toy. Raylee can’t find a man that tends to her needs like her “step brother” but this time he’s gone to far releasing a sex tape. He wants to play a game she is determined to win.

This book is base before the ritual, while it is a standalone it does connect to the lord world. As any book of Shantels is going to be dark and shocking. That’s what makes her books so good. It is spicy and full of kinks and triggers so make sure you read the trigger warnings. This book hits the dark spots, it’s a fast paced read and delicious. It’s just what you need if you are missing the lord world.

While this one wants my favourite, so it isn’t rated as high as the others. There isn’t much wrong with it though. It’s spicy as hell, minimal plot. It is what it is and that’s why you read it.

This book was wild. But I got more of Tyson so there’s that haha. I definitely don’t like the whole watching and sharing concept at all. But I do love how everyone in their circle is just there for each other.

Shantel Tessier is the reason I question if I need therapy now because these books are so addictive.

This was pure smut, taboo/toxic romance, thriller vibes, with very dark moments. It was a very easy read, super fast paced.
I do wish that the plot was a bit better and maybe the book to have had been a bit longer so that the ending wasn’t so…I guess suddenly done? I don’t know how to explain it.

I do however really enjoy how it went straight into it at the beginning (with a spicy scene no less). I feel like it was very easy to catch on to everyone’s roll in the story.

I do recommend this for dark/thriller romance readers, please check TWs and CWs as it is very descriptive in triggering topics! 18+
