A light and grim story of capitalism, kidnapping, and found family in deep space. There is an interesting narrator and perspective on the deep future, bringing forward a story that feels like an interesting direction from a familiar setting. Beyond the "oh that's interesting" feeling, the story lacks consistency in pacing, construction, and follow-through of the premise. But a good ride if you like dystopic space stories with a strong female voice.
