This was such a great read!

Spoiler We pick up with the blue flash taking over our Barry's place and the main Barry is trapped in the speed force and he meets a man named Selkirk and he tells him of this place and the people trapped here and the history behind it all meanwhile in the realworld the imposter Barry is doing more lethal rounds as he goes after the villains Napalm and goes more "lethal justice" but when Iris and Patty find him like that, doubts begin to arise in their minds and when he goes after Overload and seeing what he is gonna do to the villain, Patty and Iris confront him and even the police are against him now and meanwhile real Barry discovers who this man is aka SAVITAR and its a crisis for Barry's on both ends and its gonna be epic when the results show themselves, its Blue flash vs Real Flash vs Savitar and who will win or who will fall and the consequences will change the heroes forever!

Its a great story and I love the way the writers use familiar trope but make the story so much more epic than it has to be and the focus on two Barry's with two different experiences and making it so much more personal, one full of optimism and hope and the other devoid of hope, its such a brilliant parallel and then making them face off against villains like Overload and Savitar and doing the villain turned hero turn is awesome and I love that for it! Its brilliantly written and there are a lot of metaphors here and explosions but its the art that I love more, its so dynamic and full of energy and makes this arc much more epic. Loved the whole thing, one of the best volumes easily!

This volume was a solid, good read.
I really liked the continuation of the plot of Barry, his future self and all the complications and problems that go along with it. It was interesting and fun to read about. Surprisingly, I enjoyed Patty's character in Savage World quite a bit. I feel like she was super down to earth, realistic and sympathetic. Iris on the other hand unnerved me to no end. I really did not like how she was portrayed in this volume. Moreover, I liked the character arc Barry-from-the-future got as well as seeing how Barry fared on an island beyond time and space.
Overall, I was continually engaged and intrigued in the story and where it was going. The art was good as well. I'm excited to see what adventures await the Flash next.

Ehhhhh. I'm never a fan of these dinosaur story lines. They are too predictable.

They gave us an ending in this book to the future Flash's story. I don't know, I'm sure it's just me, but I didn't think it was a great conclusion or an excellent storyline. The think how they have turned the speed force into this living mysterious thing is strange.

People see Flash killing people or trying too and they get concerned. Iris is about to write a terrible article about this. I guess that would be the Zac Snyder version of the Flash. Anyway.

I don't really have a lot to say on this. It was an ok story with an ok conclusion and it was entertaining to read.
