I've read most of these stories in the Critters comic book series, but it's nice to see them collected and in color. Lots of humor, but none of the epic sweep of Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo.

It's always fun to see a influencial comics artists progress in their career span, and seeing Sakai's art from the late 1970s-mid 80s in comparison to his current work is pretty damn cool.
I didn't care much for the digital coloring - granted Tom Luth is an excellent colorist, but I felt as if the colors took much of the detail away from Stan's art. I think if the colors stuck to a light flat palette, it would've been more tolerable.
Even with the usage of a simple cartoony style, Stan's work is highly detailed, and looks much prettier in it's black and white format.
