This would not be a good place to start the series. Also, I didn't like the fact that the narrator was not introduced until 2 chapters later. I like knowing who is talking. It lets me set the voice in my head. If I hadn't read the previous book, I wouldn't have been able to infer who the narrator was. I didn't have access to the synopsis when I read this book.

I really enjoyed this read. Hades is an adorable Hell Hound and is a complete ham. Getting glimpses of Hannah's friends and a bit of their story makes the reader intrigued enough to be interested in purchasing the other books in the series to find out the whole story. Aidan is so sweet and your heart breaks for him. Diel's description is very sexy and I can picture a hot demon in my mind when it's his part. I really enjoyed the Hannah/Diel interaction and relationship. My only critique is the story is too short.

Good reading

Cute but disappointing.
Pretty much 'Fade to Black' sex scene. So that was a failure.

This was a passable read. I thought it was absolutely ridiculous. But that was part of its charm, purposeful on the part of the author, I think. But that fell apart towards then end, when characters had drastic changes in behavior, the whole 'romance' element was thrown in and was just clumsily handled. I did think the writing was all right, except for one thing. Why do authors so often need to use names in dialogue so much? It's like the fastest way to take otherwise passable dialogue and make it stiff and unnatural.

A nice bit of fluff.
