I enjoyed Cian and Giannaâs stress-free romance. Even though this has some of the gratuitous violence you expect from a mafia romance, it was also pretty sweet and adorable how loved up the main couple were and how unafraid and unashamed they were of showing it kinks and all with vulnerability to each other. This had slight YA vibes. Overall, I enjoyed this- perhaps not as much as the first two books in this series, but the couple communication was excellent, the family relationships were a delight and you were really rooting for this couple. If I had one complaint, it was that there was no real, strong plot- it wasnât boring or anything and there was some action, but this was very character-based and very much focused on Gianna and Cianâs relationship, making it just as well that theyâre both really likeable and the reader is rooting for them throughout. One note is that this was somewhat kinky but I donât think as a romance this gets into the erotic lane at all if thatâs a preference or concern. It was spicy but not âfaintinglyâ so⌠(at least I didnât think so YMMV). I mention this because the author does have a warning up front. Love this series, excited for whatâs next.
