The page count had me stuck – why would a romance need to be damn near 800 pages?? But damn if I didn't enjoy nearly every page. (There were 1 or 2 bits of dialogue that repeated.) Overall, I liked this way more than I thought I would.

There's a lot of behavior from various players toward the FMC in the capacity of her job that is meant to be cute but would absolutely be sexual harassment irl.
