This was the sluttiest thing I’ve ever read. Woah. I picked it up as a joke and got sucked in. I did not at all expect to read a 105 chapter book in a week or less. This is not for the faint of heart and I had no clue what I was in for. There are many kinks that I didn’t know about or arn't interested in but it held my attention. The writing is honestly meh, it was cringy and sappy and kind of stupid but I can’t say I didn’t kind of love it in the end. The characters are well rounded and their own individual people which is appreciated. And while our main character annoyed me a few times I warmed to her too. What a wild ride.

Downsides: It's very long for what it is and could probably have been a third shorter. Sometimes we jump from smut scene to smut scene without it progressing any character or plot (which is not necessarily a bad thing but in a book this long might get tedious for some). I also had to ignore the ethics involved with our FMC being a doctor getting involved with patients because that irks me... but it does get resolved in a way that felt OK.

Upsides: Are those dealbreakers when the characters are so stinking cute and watching them work out their dynamic with found family vibes and personal revelations? NO.

Ultimately it was a great rainy day read and the ending had me on the verge of happy tears - I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.

Wow, a lot sure can happen to a gal in 5 months!

Are there some problematic elements in this story? Yes. Was it enjoyable? Hell yes!

This was such a fun take on a RH MMFM relationship, but oh yeah...what mess. While it is a loooong book that could have easily trimmed ~300 pages without losing anything from the (lack of) plot, I never felt the need to skim. It is a very easy read and, for the most part, well-written.

Each character is fun, but they all read college-age NA to me rather than their actual 27-30 y.o (with the exception of maybe Ilmari). There were a number of times I had to eye roll over some of their choices or actions, but again, it didn't take away from my overall enjoyment of the book.

All-in-all, it's a low angst, high steam, insta-love, sex fest of a book!

It all works out, but I want a book with just Ilmari.

I felt that some parts were very over-explained and some parts were glossed over (I would have liked more about Avery leaving and Rachel getting reinstated). We also got very little about Rachel’s personal life when you really think about it.
