3.5 A very slow start up to almost the half way point before it got really going and they couldn't go barely a mile without a distraction pulling them from the main mission and there was this repeating of-come up against an obstacle, fight it with catching a few bruises, move on but then comes the next, and the next. And there was some certain scenes that should have been more then they actually were. When it did get going through, it was so good and unstoppable.

I cant believe Milo died, did not see it coming. While I felt for his death though, I felt Kelly's friends dying wasn't very emotionally written as Milo's was. Something I dont get is why the Blood King let Amber just go, just seemed all a little too easy. Glad Amber got an happy ending though.

I didn't like this book as well as the first two because to me it felt rushed and it was as if the author was tired of the story and just wanted it to end.
I'm not even going to talk about the ending because I'm still upset about it.
