Hilarious and steamy, I loved it. I picked this up as part of a book club and loved every minute of it. Can't wait to read the next one and am addicted to the author's TikTok...Cannot wait to attend an Author Chat with her tomorrow.

If you are looking for a sweet, quick romance novel - this is the one.

It jumped in pretty fast (could be because I read fast idk) and the story stayed interesting. No real lulls.

I was in the mood for a romance and this fit the bill!

Sweet, fun sports romance

I really enjoyed this story. Hunter and Sadie were so perfect for each other in spite of the conflict with their jobs. It was a beautiful story and seeing them fall in love was perfect. Sadie is strong and kicka** at her job as a sports journalist, running circles around her fellow journalists. Hunter is a newly hired coach with the Nashville Fury and working hard to make a name for himself, his own name. I loved their sweet moments, their steamy moments, the tender and emotional moments.

(ARC Review) This is a delightful new take on a sports romance, focused on the new hot young coach and the star reporter tasked with covering the team. It was an interesting perspective to read about, not one I've seen before in a novel. The different expectations of the behavior of women vs men, especially women in certain industries, is always fascinating to me.

I like that it's not a will-they-won't-they scenario. You know they want to be with each other, it's just a matter of how they will overcome their work-related obstacles. It's truly a love story, from the beginning to the HEA.

My review got erased so here is the short version. I loved this book- Hunter and Sadie are real complex adults that have to hide their relationship from the world. This book works for me even though I am NOT a sports romance person because it avoids almost every trope.
