Entertaining but not nearly as creepy as the first volume.

Not as solid of a story as the first trade. Seemed to get too distracted by forcing the paranormal. Still a really unique graphic novel.

Billed as a mash-up of Ocean's 11 and The Shining, Ghosted fails to live up to its own heist. Filed with characters we don't care about and narratives that don't matter, Ghosted isn't clever enough to work as a heist story, nor disturbing enough to work as a ghost story.

Bullet Review:

Ehhhhhhh...I didn't like this one as much as Volume 1. Firstly, I felt the story was convoluted and tossed together like a salad. Then I felt almost like some pages were missing - scenes suddenly skipped ahead, characters suddenly appeared with no intro or movement.

I was actually glad when this was over.

And there is the start to a serial ...
Volume One stood alone nicely. Volume Two takes the story into more of a serial mode: expands on threads from volume one (including the original heist that got Jackson put in prison) and has a twist at the end that means Jackson will continue to be haunted by old enemies, living and dead.

An interesting ghost tale. Pretty good read with occasionally inconsistent art. Horror is kept mostly in check, crime and violence a bit less so. The side characters are pretty good but they keep on dying. I would have liked to have seen more of Jackson on the island - learn more of who he is when he isn't running headlong into danger. Still not really my thing, but not bad. 3.5 of 5.

I liked the art work in this volume better than the last, but I didn't like the story as much. It felt sort of rushed.

I hate this series. I wanted to give up on this after the first volume but I read this volume for whatever reason and wish to hell I hadn't. The writing is lazy and unimaginative and the characters are unlikable. I quit!
