I'm not a big romance reader, but I usually make an exception for paranormal romance.
I've never read Kerrelyn Sparks before and was told to read this book by a friend of mine.
The plot was good but the story flow and suspense was a let down. It was built up through the whole book, this sexual tension between the two characters that I was sure when they were to finally be together it would be explosive. I was sorely mistaken. Anti-climatic at best.
I think I might have to research what book I should read, if I read another Sparks book. Because the idea was there and a good one IMO, I have hope. I'm just hoping that her other books won't be along the same line as this one.
Also, one thing that bugged me was the cover. I looked at the cover and thought 'ok, yummy' but the cover art doesn't depict the actual characters.

not my favorite, but a good book still
Wondering what the next one will be like after the resolution in this one.

I loved it!! so sweet, so lovely. It made my heart ache, though. Too much love for me.

Disappointing. Not my cup of tea, but if you are following the storyline with Casimir then you probably want to read this one.

I've absolutely loved every book in this series about vampires living in the modern world. Kerrelyn Sparks adds humor and real-life drama to her fiction that helps me connect to her characters. In Vampire Mine Connor is nearly five-hundred years old and feeling his age. He has issues that keep him isolated from even his closest friends. When he sees more and more of them finding love among mortal women it upsets and alienates him more. Then the unexpected happens. He discovers a fallen angel and makes it his goal to help her back to heaven. Their story is heartwarming and heartbreaking at times, but well worth every nail-biting minute.

I didn't really care for bringing angels and demons into this universe. I'm alright with vampires and were-beings, but not so much angels and demons.

Giving this a lower rating only because this storyline was not my cup of tea.... I also couldnt get into the narrator, I just didnt like the voice she picked for Marielle.

as usual, this left me a stomach ache due to laughing! this is super funny and hilarious. i might not be a connor fanatic as i see him a bitter dude but he redeem himself at the end of the book. and marielle is what he really needs!
