3,5 stars

Decided to not give this one a GR rating seeing I can't give half star ratings and 3 or 4 just isn't it. It's 3.5, lol. I'm getting really tired about the fact that half star ratings aren't possible to give here, ugh. But okay... On to the mini review.

I really liked this book. It was sometimes maybe a bit too sweet and the story was a bit too stretched at times I think - it could've been wrapped up with a lot less pages I think - but overall I truly enjoyed this. It was so funny at times and incredibly endearing but also Sexy AF. I also got to know enough of the minor characters present in this story, that I'm really excited to read their own companion novels as well, so I'll definitely pick up the next book - and the 3rd as well - in the series!

An energetic, spicy, dual-POV sports romance.

Book 1 brings us the captain of the pro hockey team and the girl he’s not supposed to want, letting us fall for the whole crew around them both while laughing (and tingling) as those two crazy kids fall for each other.

The teacher and the athlete’s love story is a good start to a series I enjoyed, each book a little different in a way that kept me engaged and not wanting to leave their world.

This was a 3.5 ⭐

This was my first Becka Mack book and I finally caved after being told monthly by @samsdarkreads that I HAD to read this book.

This book started strong and I was loving the “golden retriever” vibe of Carter, the MMC. Which is NOT a me thing haha. I loved the banter, silly moments, and watching the relationship between the MCs grow.

Unfortunately, I found this book was WAY longer than it needed to be. I kind of got bored with the story because while the relationship building was amazing there wasn't much else happening.

I'm excited to give the next book a try because I did enjoy the other characters!

Overall, a good read that I enjoyed! Just a little too long and didn’t really stick out to me.
