I'm nowhere near being an amazing cook, but I try to make some recipes from time to time and usually it tastes fine. I'm particularly into making al kinds of different pastas or curries, so this book was just fine for me.

Some of the recipes look really great (I haven't had the time to cook some, but will definitely do this once I've got more time), and there's a great variety of different sorts of sauces. I liked the fact that the vegatarian pastas part was so big.

As always when I read a recipe book (instead of searching for them online) what I missed were pictures with every recipe. These don't need to be full page-sized, but just to give me an idea what the result should look like.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

First off this book was visually stunning, all the pasta photo insets were appealing and appetizing. The equipment and pasta shapes guides in the beginning were very useful.

The majority of the recipes were fairly simple though a few of them took me longer than the prescribed thirty minutes of the title, also some ingredients were either fairly expensive or difficult to come by. The variety of recipes and ingredients was great, especially with fussy eaters in mind.

I received this book for free from the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for a fair and honest review.
