Heavy is the only word that describes this novel. Honestly, it wasn’t what I thought I was going to read, but it was such a provocative, emotional slog and it was worth every second of stress I felt reading it. 🙌🏻✨

I would not recommend this book to anyone. This book is 500 pages. The story could've been told in 250, easily. Even if it wasn't just an edgy shock-fest, its bloated length is enough to say you should stay away. I enjoy the author's prose, but I wish he had channeled it differently, and kept it brief.
