It's not bad, but the next should be better. Some names of people do not seem to make much sense, or... is my French decaying? Allons enfants!

The roundabout and the continuous joke about not speaking deserves a special mention.

A good laugh, boosted by the nostalgia from reading tonnes of asterix as a child.

The story is simple, not particularly interesting or memorable, but the humour and art hold up. This is a (relatively) recent addition to the series with a new author who has delivered on the tone and humour to make them seem just like how I remember from childhood, which for the most part is a good thing but as per the asterix formula, its full of jokes based on stereotypes (in this case about scottish people) which can feel a bit dated and unoriginal.
