i would have given it 5* if it was just arriane and rolands story. no luce being obsessed with daniel. I've had enough of that crap. but anyways its still okay but not great.

Was this book necessary? Not at all. Was it confusing? Definitely at points. Was it beautiful and still worth the read? Absolutely. I liked this book okay. I just felt like it was just there for more length and money, and it wasn't any vital information to the story. However, I still enjoyed the backstories of the characters, especially Arriane, and finding out even more. And, for its length, it did drag a bit at points. Overall, I left this one just wanting more.
*SOMETIMES LOVE NEEDED A LIFT FROM ITS GUARDIAN ANGELS, TO GET ITS FEET OFF THE GROUND. BUT ONCE IT MADE ITS FIRST EARLY BEATS TOWARD FLIGHT, IT HAD TO BE TRUSTED TO TAKE WING ON ITS OWN AND SOAR PAST THE HIGHEST CONCEIVABLE HEIGHTS, INTO THE HEAVENS AND BEYOND.
* I'm not positive if this is the last line, but I believe it is. I returned the book to the library before I wrote this. Oops.

These short stories are just too cute! I love how the author focused the other relationships and not just Luce and Daniels relationship.

I've spent so much time on this series, that I'm just reading it to say I didn't give up.

*-* The stories in this book were so sad, apart from Shelby and Miles's Valentine.
Poor Roland. I could never imagine that he suffered so much. But why did he even listen to Cam?? Why was he to him instead of going to Daniel?? Daniel would have said that it's all worth it when we talk about love and that true love is not a dream.
Roland didn't even need to ask Daniel. Just seieng Daniel and Luce's example would suffice. *sigh*
And poor Ariane. Now we now how she got that scar in the neck.
And Daniel and Luce *sigh* Just wonderful. I wouldn't mind if my Valentine's traditions were peonies and kisses *-*
*lots of sighs*

I loved how Miles finally recognized his feelings for Shelby. I read this after reading Rapture so maybe it made it better for me because as I continue to scroll the comments and reviews I see a lot of negative remarks. A lot of people are bashing on Kate, I personally agree the second book wasn't up to her capabilities but it's still my favorite series. I am a to die Daniel fan. I will stick around for whatever she puts out. Even if it is complete crap. That's what a fan does.
