This was just super cute and adorable. I also love, how unlike many yaoi/shounen-ai, they don't immediately hop in bed and have steaming sex. Instead they shyly hold hands, kiss, kiss some more, hug, and are really sweet. It is really so much different from other manga like this. It is refreshing. <3
Sure, they have sex (and it was hilarious how it went), but it took them 3 books to get to that point.

I read 3 of these volumes pretty much back to back so these reviews will be the same for all three. I adore this couple. They’re so cute and have such a wonderful relationship that I had a wonderful time watching grow. A series that is funny and entertaining. I will say my least favorite part of this series is that horrible teacher. Pedophilia is treated so normally with him and other teachers. I’m glad one of the main characters calls him on it but it never really goes any further in fixing it except calling him a pedophile. I would hate every page he showed up on. I would get so invested in the main couples relationship I would even forget he was there and it was like a jump scare whenever he would show up. After hearing what the next volume is about I’m going to stop the series at volume 3 since it feels like a good wrap up for their story.

This is officially my favorite m/m romance manga! Even though the story and characters weren't Mariana Trench deep, I thought that they suit the story they were in. I loved how simple yet realistic their struggles were and how the mangaka didn't feel the need to weigh down the story with drama to keep it "interesting". The drama kept the story going at a reasonable pace and allowed the romance to shine through, almost as if the mangaka was confident enough in the romance to let it take center stage. WHAT A STRANGE CONCEPT *glares at most YA romance novels*

Jokes (and rant) aside, this was a wonderful, delightful read that was short enough to leave me wanting more, yet long enough to give me a satisfying ending (as far as I know, not sure if this is the final volume or not). This is a great series that I can't recommend enough and hope that others will give a chance. I promise, you won't be disappointed.
