I know he's building up to his version of a crisis event, but it feels like they kinda missed the point here. This really isn't Stan Lee's take on classic DC characters, it's Stan takes the name and then veers as wildly as he can away from what's been done before. He's literally creating a dozen new characters who bare name only connections with their counterparts. I hate being the guy who says "this is what I wanted to see" rather than reviewing what's there, but honestly I would have rather seen Stan write stories featuring the actual classic characters, whether or not they were in canon. It would be interesting to see how the Stan Lee voice interprets Bruce Wayne or Clark Kent.

What we've got isn't that. In fact, it's not much of anything. Not sure how much longer I'll stick with it.

Well, I finished it. But my comments still hold.

Even worse is there's no subtlety in it at all.

The rating is really 2.5 but rounded up for the art.
