I have always been concerned about horror attractions because wouldn’t they be the perfect place for a serial killer to go on a spree?! As this story proves, YES! 🫣 Thank you for bringing my secret fear to life, Noelle Ihli lol
I had a couple of very minor irks while reading (like when multiple characters started internally referring to an unfamiliar boy as “Freckle Face”) but overall this was a fantastic read. This book claims to be a thriller, but I would really put it firmly in the slasher horror genre. It’s interesting (and bloody!) pretty much right away. Ihli does a great job keeping the story moving and the reader hooked! I’m going to have to add more of her titles to my TBR!
Graphic: Body horror, Child death, Death, Gore, Physical abuse, Torture, Violence, Blood, Grief, Murder, and Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Animal cruelty and Bullying
Minor: Drug use, Infidelity, Toxic relationship, Gaslighting, Toxic friendship, Abandonment, and Alcohol
