Although I thought this would contain more information about mending, what this book did contain was so much more wide-ranging and probably more useful. It gives a really good analysis of the fashion industry and in depth information about individual fabrics and the often not-considered environmental impact of everything to do with fashion. This was the perfect read to kick off the new year with as it's so easy in January to be sucked in by consumerism and/or the desire the reinvent yourself, and now I've come away feeling inspired with so many ideas of how to use my existing wardrobe in interesting ways, what to consider if I ever want to expand my wardrobe, and ways in which I can inspire other people around to consider the same things.

I love everything Orsola de Castro and Fashion Revolution stand for…but this book read so slowly (for me). Part of this lies in the breadth and depth of information presented, which led to cognitive overload on my end. If I found an audio version, the pacing wouldn’t have been a problem.

finally finished the book…
I was expecting something else, mainly, i was looking forward to gather more data regarding the negative aspects of fashion industry. I enjoyed some tutorials that the author decided to put in the book, though some seemed to childish and basic for me, although i can understand that some might be uninformed and not so educated in that aspect.

Painful to read in parts, had to go slow because the climate anxiety is real.
An important book though and theoretically full of hope and action

This was the best sustainable fashion book I’ve read so far (and I’ve nearly read them all by this point) so to the point, easy to understand, truly delved into the issues but didn’t provide solutions that included buying more stuff! Freaking love Orsola and will 10000% be recommended this book. Ahhhh it’s so freaking good, I feel so inspired and ready to continue with my activism
