It was okay. Moved slowly.
Feel the need to let you know it is a sad ending. You don't really feel much connection to either of the characters and this keeps the ending from affecting you as much as it should.
The story in whole is a bit one dimensional.

I absolutely loved this book! The writing had me completely absorbed into the world from the start and the characters were well fleshed out and had a life of their own. It was a quick read for me but a big part of that was because I couldn't put it down from the second I started it. Valerie Twombly has made it to my favorite authors list with this one book and I can't wait to follow up with the rest of her series. (Not to mention stalk... I mean read any thing else she writes.)

Summary Paragraph:
This is the prequel story to the rest of the series and helps lay the foundation for the angel’s mates. This was a very short read and well worth it to help understand the other books in the series to come

What I liked/Didn’t Like:
Love the writing and the fact that the book helped us to understand things that are to come in the rest of the series.
