Absolutely incredible storytelling. I don't remember when I started - I think less than a week ago - but I do know I demolished every page and read the last 200 pages in one sitting. *Loved* the narrative style. I was hooked from the first page. I've heard people say this is overrated, but I disagree - I'm going to be recommending this book to my mystery-loving friends and family.

Audiobook version

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. The story itself didn't really grab my attention, but I'm not a true crime fan at all. The narration was very involved, with multiple narrators, very much like a radio drama production. But this also included a lot of stage direction and details that took away from my concentration on the book. I'm not really sure what part I didn't like. The story was just ok, the organization was ok, the production was ok. I'm not sure I'd ever want to try another book written in this format, or if I did, maybe following the text while listening.

the audiobook of this is actually really good. it can be a bit jumbled because the format does have like eyewitness testimony and news articles “stapled” in but in my opinion, it was easy to follow.

Waste of time, guessed immediately and the book took too long to get to the point. Y’all lied. I’m irritated now… no one talk to me

This book is set up very differently from anything I’ve ever read before. Reading like a transcript from a documentary, I did like the different approach. It was hard to follow at times, and ultimately the ending was lackluster for me. But worth the read!
