This book is as sunshiny as the cover! A soft, no stress YA contemporary with an easy-to-root-for protagonist, a sweet romance, and some great queer rep. I loved the excuse to jump into the world of K-Pop and I loved the standing-up-for-yourself-taking-up-space theme.

i LOVED this book! it was funny  and inspiring while also being more serious at times. sadly, i could relate to the main character, skye, and her mommy issues.
the only thing that kept me from rating this 5 stars was that it was very predictable and i kind of knew how it was going to end from the beginning.
Spoiler although, something i did not predict, and that fully blew my mind, was henry’s coming out scene. despite it being emotional, directly after hearing it i though “f*ck out my way when you see me, i’m rollin with the lgbt”, because their whole squad was lgbtq+ people.
