This was a cute novella that took place on Halloween but didn't really have anything spooky about. This book also features a single parent. Savannah and Lincoln meet during a mutual bachelor and bachelorette party. They have an instantaneous attraction to each other. This definitely is a happy for now book as the two live in different cities and they aren't necessarily sure how they would make their relationship work. I absolutely adored the chemistry between the two of them. There were moments that had me grinning from ear to ear. I loved how much Lincoln respected how much of a powerhouse Savannah was. She not only was raising a teenager as a single mom, but she also owned her own successful salon. I hope that we as readers get to see this couple again in one of Warren's future books.
Super-cute read. Good storyline, cute characters, and Vegas! Lincoln and Savannah were the cutest. That damn Rod was too funny! This is truly a novella, but it didn’t feel like one. I’d love to see more from this crew.
This was such a cute and spicy story. The haunted house scene had me hollering, but it also brought Lincoln and Savannah closer. I'm glad Savannah threw caution to the wind (responsibly.) And Lincoln was optimistic about their budding relationship. As more often than not, the problem with short stories is that they leave me wanting to read more about the main characters. I'd love to read a full story about these two!
