I have to say I felt quite sorry for Holly (our protagonist) as she seems to get abused from everyone constantly in here despite the fact she doesn't ever do anything wrong. This felt very similar to the 'Point Horror' book Camp Fear by Carol Ellis except this felt like it had actual stakes.

Loved this, one of my favorite Fear Streets so far! Really enjoyed the Friday the 13th like/summer camp setting! Wished I didn’t miss out on this when it came out,I think I would’ve enjoyed it even more this as a kid .

Another book club read. I understand I am not the target audience, but that being said, the dialogue in this book is very very young and there is no substance by way of story. Most of the action is general camp related happenings, teenage drama, and a whole lot of whining. When it finally came to the reveal, there was absolutely zero hints towards that character at all. I felt no sense of "No way! It was that person?!" or that it answered all my questions. It felt like the author pulled the villain from a hat after writing the whole book in advance and said "There you go, readers."

I've never read any horror books from the 90s so it was a fun experience. Reading this book for the first time as an adult is really funny. Despite annoying characters and extremely predictable plot I still enjoyed this!

This one is a quick read, not too difficult at all. I’d read it before in middle school and couldn’t remember the title. I’m glad I found it, but I will say R.L. Stine’s writing is a lot different than I remember lol
