There's something about Vivien Dean's writing that really appeals to me. There's a warmth that I can't really define and a depth to her character's surrounding lives that I really appreciate. This one didn't quite live up to the other, much newer title I've read of hers -- [b:The Naked Remedy|46136362|The Naked Remedy|Vivien Dean|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1559543818l/46136362._SY75_.jpg|71076137] -- but I still liked it. This one had the steam (pun IGNORED!!) the other was missing, but it didn't quite make the final step on the emotional attachment I wanted. It was so close, though. I'm excited to keep reading more from her.
