Bear 🐻 content in this book was non-existent: an unfortunate 0/10 bears.
This was the most deliciously tropey book I've read in a long time. I enjoyed reading it absolutely despite myself.

- A girl from the unnamed yet ominously capitalized Projects of ambiguous ethnic origins who Got Out and has Conflicting Feelings? ✔️
- A rich white widower who has a butler who says words like "quite" as a whole sentence? 😭✔️
I read this as part of a Must Read Thrillers List. If you love a campy book with predictable cishet romance and mystery tropes, yeah, I totally recommend it. On the thriller front? You could totes skip it.
