after loving ‘my year of rest and relaxation’, i was excited to read another moshfegh - unfortunately i was a bit let down by this one. I enjoyed the writing, the imagery, and the main character’s voice, but overall didn’t love the novel and found it somewhat unsatisfying.

I’m not quite sure what I just read. I love My year of rest and relaxation so I wanted to read all of her books and this one was odd to say the least. It was a quick read but I’m left confused..
