I was looking for a book about letters that was something refreshing (I still love you Chicka Chicka Boom Boom) and wasn't annoying. This hit the spot. I loved how all the baby letters came together and how they helped the big letters come together, too. I already know Deborah Underwood's beautiful books, but now I definitely need to check out more from Joy Hwang-Ruiz.

Reminds me a bit of The War Between the Vowels and the Consonants, a favorite oldie. I think educators are going to love sharing this one for themes of community building and acceptance.

This was so darn cute! I love the message behind it too.

Such a great book! It will inspire kids to think of the way they and their words can make a difference in tearing down the walls that divide us. Highly recommended for grades K & up.

Not only a cute book about letters with lots of fun wordplay (great for emerging readers beginning to discover the fun words can be), but also a good message about breaking down walls and accepting differences. This one quickly built up a holds list at my library when I ordered it and I can see why!

A tad simplistic, yes, but still delightful and sweet with a valuable message about acceptance and the power of talking to those who think differently.
