This is a wonderful heart warming collection of western romances set in the 1800s. I only have read Jacqui Nelson before so it's a great discovery of new authors for me. I've thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of these stories.

Fearless by Karen J Hasley - Great start to the set, this one is set in Texas on a train journey back when that was the fastest mode of transit. Miss Clemmie is off to her new job as a teacher, on the train with her is a Texas Ranger and his shackled criminal. All is not as it seems and action and love are iminent.

Riverboat Romance by Stacey Coverstone - This one is set in Missouri 1866. Verity works at a cook and cleaner in a brothel, taken in when she was orphaned. Dire circumstances cause her to flee. Verity takes a steamboat ride to find a husband. This was a fun, sweet tale with some drama thrown into the mix.

Winter's Rose by Melissa Lynne Blue
Jack is forced t omarry his deceased brother's fiance. Being a single mother would be such scandal i the 1800s. He immediately leaves for war, as a physician he is kept away for years. He is happy in the hospital and does not wish to go home to a life he doesn't want. Will these two connect and make a family?

Sorry by Tanya Hanson
Sarah 'Sorry' is a young woman who will not conform to society's wishes for a young lady of the times. Will meeting a young man who gives her tummy flutters be her undoing? Or will she rebel and run away?

Following Faith by Jacqui Nelson
This poor woman is scandalled by gossip and loses her job. She sets off on a journey to return this horse and danger is near by. Will she survive? I enjoyed this tale of the heart.

Quixie on the Draw by Linda LaRoque
Quixie takes the stagecoach through Texas to find her younger brother. She certainly doesn't expect to find him in the manner she did. Robbery, kidnapping and shootings make for an exciting adventure.

When Love comes calling by Anne Carrole
Callie is a waitress in a restaurant chain that serve travellers coming and going on trains. This is her love story to escape this drudgery and find an instant family.

Saving Susanna by Debora Dennis
Susanna was named after a bank robber from 150 years ago, she looks like her and is determined to find out what happened back then. This was a fun time travel story.
