An incredible collection of stories that shines a light into the experiences of people with disabilities. This collection is justice-centered & gives no space to non-disabled sympathy or trauma porn, and I love that. This is a YA adaptation, but it didn’t feel juvenile or anything of that sort. It was very well crafted and informative, and I would recommend this to everyone.

this is a very informative collection of experiences. it made me think a lot about the complacent way i think about disability & the work i need to do to reframe my view. also, if you can, i HIGHLY recommend listening to this on audio because the different narrators added so much to the stories. though we still have so much work to do for disability rights & accessibility of accommodations, i am very glad that we are in a time where disabled people can share their stories in a book like this. i am very excited to look further into all the authors & activists feautured in this book.
