This was such a forgettable book that I accidently read it twice. I got about half way through it when it all seemed very familiar. of course, I still had to finish it because I couldn't recall exactly how it all ended. In the end it was a predictable book but sometimes that what I want from a book.

Not the greatest book in the world. The story was disjointed. Written as short articles or blogs almost, not traditional chapters.

I had high hopes for this book. The beginning was witty. Too bad it didn't last until the end.

This was recommended by a friend who said it was entertaining. After I started reading, I realized I had read this book before. I recognized this based on the fact that the central character got a job at the New York Times by sending a letter to the editor along with some of her newspaper columns and was hired without being interviewed and that someone’s mug gets stolen. Totally forgettable book and now that I have a list of my books, I will hopefully not read this again.

Highlighted a few things, some parts only funny to those who appreciate AP Style.

Well... This book... I bought it because I had finished all the books that I brought away with me. I'm really not sure how I felt about this book. There were times where I couldn't stop laughing, there was a lot of humour in this book. I couldn't really identify with any of the characters and you didn't see much of them (not even the main character). I didn't like the way it was laid out either. It kinda reminded me of a leaflet... There was too mucgh going on at one time, I didn't feel that it really flowed... But oh well. I decided that she should be let off as this was only her first novel. This isn't a book I would read again.

I read it so quickly as it was a fairly short book and not a challenging read. If you have a couple of hours to fill and want a bit of a laugh then you should read this book.

A great resolution to the "chick-lit" problem. Smart, funny, introspective, and relatable. Love it!
