Loved this third book in The Duke's Daughter's series. This is Jacintha's story and it is full of romance, action, and a dastardly villain. Jacintha is determined to have a marriage of convenience. She was in love with her childhood friend Henry, but when he returns, he is a changed man. Henry has turned into a rogue and seems to be more interested in having fun than being a serious peer of the realm. When he sees Jacintha again, he is haunted by the almost kiss of their youth and is determined to be a better man. However, Jacintha is being pursued by Lord Slate and she is tempted to accept his persistent suit, but is he too good to be true? I really like reading this author and enjoy her clean regency era romances!

It was very similar to another story I read years ago, but the other story had a much stronger heroine. With sisters like those, who needs enemies...
