I enjoyed this collection well enough, though I am a little tired of new spins on fairy tales and poetry does nothing for me. The Doctor Who story was probably my favorite. I'm somewhat befuddled by the title and introduction in which the author "warns" us; all the stories in here are rather mild and it's hard to see how anyone could be upset by any of them. But I guess you never know.

This filled the hole my recent disappointment with Stephen King left. Really enjoyed it - the hooks weren't left hanging.

I think it could have done without the random Dr Who fanfiction in the middle, though but all in all, hit the spot.

This collection will change your view on short stories forever. Masterfully written and very well paced, each story showcases Gaiman's excellent skill.

Mr. Gaiman never fails to delight and destroy us with each story and this collection of dark hopes and wild desires makes that simple fact ever more plain.

I feel like a traitor to Gaiman for only rating this 3 stars. He really is one of my favourite authors, I just found this Audiobook a little hard to follow.

Many of these stories were quite good, and it was overall worth the read, but some were pretty meh. The format was nice, as it was easy to designate a smaller amount of time to a full story than a chapter sometimes is.
